Important Note on Escorts: Unlike nitrous oxide alone, patients undergoing oral moderate sedation must be accompanied to and from the dental clinic by a responsible adult, cannot drive or operate machinery for at least 18 hours following treatment, and must refrain from alcohol and other sedatives during recovery.

Medical Considerations and Contraindications
